Welcome to Harrison County Pets!
This project was initiated in response to the overload of dogs being abandoned at the
Harrison County Ohio Dog Pound, by owners who did not have the means, or the heart
to find a home for the animal that they took in.
The Harrison County Dog Pound as well as any other Animal group will have free access
to post images, and information about their animals on this website. These animals will
have a free virtual stay here on HCP, until they find a home.
Individuals may also post pets for adoption as well, but a small fee will be included to pay
for upkeep and bandwidth utilized for this project. Included in this Fee, is the ability to post
all available information, as well as pictures about the pet,
and the listing will stay online, until
that pet finds a home. Eventually a portion of the fees will go towards pet friendly projects here within
Harrison County.
